This game is filled with offensive gender tropes and generally awful writing. Ultimately, it is a bad rip-off of Puzzle Quest. Dont buy this junk.

I think this game is very well worth the 99¢ I paid for it. Its addictive and very challenging. I really enjoy it.

I was not expecting much from this game by the initial price tag of $0.99. I was happy to discover that this game has so much to offer. Hero Emblems does so well at allowing a fun, challenging experience with simplistic gameplay and mechanics that ends in a rewarding way. A fantastic game that is worth more than $0.99.

Match 3 RPG thats actually fun, like the old days of Puzzle Quest (which I played through at least 5 times on my PC). The animation is cutesy and the conversations are more sarcastic and humorous, but the concept is the same. Buy upgrades with gold you earn from battles, sometimes win free ones, choose which skills your chars need to beat each boss. Large map will keep you entertained a long time.

This game is very enjoyable and entertaining. A lot of people are complaining about the grinding. They clearly have never played a leveling up rpg before. Dont change a thing about the gameplay! That being said, it would be really awesome if you added more after you beat the game. Like maybe even a DLC. Id be willing to pay to get more gameplay

Level 31 and 17hours to finish the main chapters. Very good game. Also good to play on multiple devices and on airplane. Recommended!

Cant recommend this game enough for and rpg fan or fans of tile puzzles.

I only request an option to skip already viewed dialogue and/or a fast forward button because the grinding can get boring especially when its on a story lvl and you die and have to go through all the slow dialogue scenes before the fight. Love the game though!

On top of being a great game that resembles a love child between the original Battleheart and Puzzle Quest, the developer has foregone turn timers and IAPs to great success. It might be a little grindy at times, but I have the entire game up front without restriction. Hopefully more developers follow suit.

This is one of the most frustrating games Ive played on iOS. Wow this thing is cheap and cheesy. To even stand a chance you have to grind grind grind grind to get the better emblems. Bad balancing, and doesnt seem to have been playtested. Plays like every free to play game.

This game is just amazing. It took the simple idea of matching icons to a real experience. Ive beat the main game, and am enjoying the after game levels now. Definitely worth the money.

Yes the story is ridiculous and cheesy but so were the old school RPGs of the early 90s. I dont think the developer was trying to make it serious or literal, so the people complaining about the story, relax. As far as the gameplay its highly addicting and has that retro RPG feel. No IAP and no advertising? Wow. GREAT JOB! Please make more games!

Seriously, game is a lot of fun, however, it does come with some gripes I have with it. What it boils down to is that the story seems very poor (so far). Some of the dialogue is pretty cringy, but I still come back playing because I need to complete my quests and the Tetris style gameplay is so addictive and impactful. When you line up a bunch and combos turn into even more combos it is a satisfying experience. I tend to not even look up at my characters and just focus on the puzzle and my health (which is upsetting because it has some okay attack effects). Gameplay is what makes me keep chugging in this game! Currently 6 hours in. Give it a try! Worth .99 cents

No IAP, really slick graphics, fun story, and challenging but casual gameplay. Great deal!!

I have already put 20 days and 18 hours into this game. The final boss is hard to beat, it took me about 15 hours. Highly recommended.

It would be 5/5 if you didnt have to grind the hell out of it. Seriously, the game gets ridiculously hard early on and you have to grind the levels. Even then, its still difficult. Besides that, a good game. Oh and the in game stuff like potions and defense stuff costs way to much gold. You get like 30 gold per battle and stuff costs like 200 right out of the gate.

This game has it all - match three, turn-based RPG action, wonderful storyline, and cute chibi characters to boot. I looked long and hard for an app game as captivating as this. AND its a pay-once-and-play game with no annoying waiting periods or limitations. Cant wait for Heatpots next app!
